The 2011 Lincoln MKS is equipped with one of two powerful engines: a 273-horsepower, 3.7-liter V-6 engine with SelectShift® and a 355-horsepower, twin-turbocharged, EcoBoost 3.5-liter V-6 with direct injection. The EcoBoost engine meshes the power of a traditional V-8 with the fuel economy of a V-6. Both engines are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission and have available front- or all-wheel drive. When it comes to fuel economy, the MKS gets a modest 16-17 mpg in the city and 23-25 mpg on the highway.
